On-form duo, Maxi Rodriguez & Dirk Kuyt were influential in this match against Newcastle at Anfield. Kenny Dalglish continues to put his trust with the young players with Jay Spearing & John Flanagan starting.
The game also saw ex-Toon striker and now Liverpool number 9, Andy Caroll making a 20 minute cameo. The good feeling has returned to the Kop since Reds legend, Kenny Dalglish took over mid-season after the sacking of Roy Hodgson.
