NATS Soccer News: Owen a Red Devil

Former Kop hero & Real Madrid player, Michael Owen completed his shock move to Premier League champs Manchester United. He joins the English champions on a 2 year deal with a 50,000 pounds weekly wage. Owen will not cost United any fee after the becoming a free agent after his contract with relegated Newcastle United expired.

Owen on his dream move, " I am now looking forward to being a Manchester United player. I hope to start winning real trophies that matters like the European Cup & the Premiership and not like the toy-like & meaningless trophies that I won during my time in Liverpool. Hopefully, I will also be in the World Cup squad for South Africa 2010".

United managed, Sir Alex Ferguson eager to reinforce his depleted
forward line said, "Michael is a world class forward with a proven goalscoring record at the highest level & that has never been in question".

Owen will now lineup with friends & former England collegues Rio Ferdinand & Wayne Rooney to put himself in the frame for Fabio Capello's England & start collecting his 1st ever meaningful trophy in his career.

NATS Tennis: Performance Review 04.07.09

Dalam semangat Wimbledon yg sedang berlangsung, dua ahli NATS, Bo & Fadzli Sala berentap di gelanggang tenis di Kompleks Sukan UiTM.

Perlawanan bermula pd jam 8 pagi dan berlangsung selama 2 jam. Saingan hebat antara 2 pemain ini berakhir dgn keputusan Bo menang straight sets 6-4, 6 - 1. Set pertama sengit sehinggalah Bo "break" serve Fadzli pada kedudukan 4 - 3 & seterusnya menang
6 -4.

Set ke-2 pula Fadzli mula merasa hamstringnya ketat, lawannya mula mengambil kesempatan utk lead 4 - 0. Fadzli berjaya mendapat 1 game sebelum Bo mengakhiri saingan set kedua & seterusnya perlawanan.

Bo berjaya membalas semula kekalahan 2 minggu berturut2 sebelum ini kepada Fadzli. Apa2 pun, saingan minggu depan masih ada.
Jika ada ahli2 NATS yang ingin mula melibatkan sekali diri dalam arena tenis, silalah tinggalkan nama di ruangan komen. Sedikit gambar2 dari perlawanan minggu ini.

Kalau korang sedar, rupa blog dah bertukar. I was trying to put this blog header but not successful. Blog header ni was created by designer kat office aku using Photoshop CS4.

I had changed the template after testing it on another blog I had created and it was successful there. Cuba koroang usha www.fridayfutsal.blogspot.com . I think this would be nice and nicer once Mazleen completes the NATS logo.

So, sesiapa yang boleh tolong please leave a comment or advice or anything.

NATS Points System: Macam Mana Nak Dapat Points Untuk Defend.

Tiap2 minggu mesti ada rungutan/ketidakpuashatian/bangkangan ttg markah utk defending. Mungkin masing2 ada hajat yang terbuku di hati untuk menggantikan Sr. Paolo Maldini.

Oleh itu, ini adalah sedikit penerangan/panduan ttg criteria utk dapat markah. Criteria ialah:

1. Steal/Tackle mesti di lakukan dalam kawasan sendiri sahaja.
2. Steal/Tackle mesti result in own team mendapat posession bola.
3. Block shots di kira hanya jika block rembatan dari pihak lawan. Team sendiri punya rembatan tak kira...Tevez, take note on this...hehehe
   
4. Menyepak bola keluar di garisan belakang tak dikira sebagai points.

(criteria di atas di "bold" kan supaya lebih nampak dan terang)

Panduan ini tidak muktamad & masih terbuka utk perubahan jika ada cadangan/pandangan lain dari ahli2 NATS. Perubahan pada sistem pengiraan adalah utk meningkatkan skill dan kompetitif game kita tiap2 minggu, and mmg nampak perubahan.

Tukang calit kena lebih focus masa menanda utk mengelakkan rungutan berulang.

Kaka Unvieled to The Madristas

The Galacticos Project: Part 2 under returning Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has officially gotten under way with the unveiling of their new no. 8 Brazilian, Kaka. Kaka flew directly to Madrid after lifting the Confederations Cup in South Africa with the Brazilian national team.
It was reported it was a carnival-like atmosphere in the Spanish capital in greeting the Brazilian superstar.

There was great speculation on which number that he would be taking up. No. 5 was much touted, together with the recently vacated no 9 (by Saviola). In the end, he was given the no. 8 shirt which was worn previously by Gago, who will be Madrid's new no. '5'.

This was what Kaka had to say on his move, "I am joining a great team. I will be playing alongside some of the best players in the world. Iker, Guti, Raul, the Dutch players and hopefully Cristiano Ronaldo. I cant wait to write my name in the annals of Real's glorious history. Hala Madrid".

For Madristas, especially Zul @ Bozord, this would potentially be a beautiful season & hopefully a trophy laden one too. It would be interesting on who will join this Galacticos Project in the coming weeks. Watch out for this space.
